Pandavkada Falls

Pandavkada Falls is a waterfall situated in Kharghar, a suburb of Navi Mumbai. Pandavkada Waterfall is a popular picnic spot for one day because it is a type of 'plunge' waterfall that pours massive amounts of water onto the rocky surface underneath. Pandavkada Waterfall is about 107 meters high.

History

During their exile in the forest, the Pandavas visited the place and took a bath below the falls, as per Hindu mythology, which led to the name Pandavkada. In pandavkada, there is a large tunnel from where the pandavas came, so that's why it's called pandavkada ankit.
