Amidst soaring swine flu cases, an Andheri resident with a history of epilepsy on Monday became the first casualty from Mumbai. With the death toll in the city rising to nine—the other eight victims were outsiders—the state government has directed hospitals to create isolation facilities. It has also asked a private lab to slash its testing rates.
