Between 2009 and 2014, Maharashtra left Gujarat behind as the most sought after destination for global and domestic investors, as the latter recorded least growth rate of just over 2 percent among top 21 states in India, revealed a recently concluded study, ‘A Comparative Analysis of Investment Pattern in States’, by apex industry body Assocham.
