With the delay in admissions for several post-graduate courses and a shortened term this year, several Mumbai University exams have been scheduled after Diwali. City colleges are wary of conducting the exams after Diwali vacation as teachers will have to juggle with regular classes, conduct exams and paper evaluation. Some colleges have around 400 students taking the exam which may lead to non-availability of classrooms for regular lectures.
