An 18-month-old boy from Malad (east) died allegedly after consuming contaminated water being supplied by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday. A case of negligence and causing hurt has been registered at Kurar police station against BMC officers of the P-North ward, against the developer in whose housing project the boy’s family lived, and the manager of his housing society.
