Passenger numbers at Dubai International continued their rapid ascent in May as the airport handled 6.2 million customers, up 23.2 percent from the same period last year, according to the monthly traffic report issued by operator Dubai Airports today. The biggest contributors to this growth were flyers from India as an additional 3.7 lakh flyers flew into Dubai this year as compared to last.
