A woman from Malawi in southeast Africa was arrested on Thursday for allegedly carrying 9.9 kg of ephedrine—a drug used to concoct narcotic substances—concealed in helmets. Customs officials pegged the value of the contraband around Rs 9.9 lakh in the international market.
