Even as the BMC launched an internal inquiry in the wake of allegations of cheating made against one of its doctors, the family of the accused on Wednesday alleged a conspiracy by co-workers. The chief medical officer of the BMC-run Kasturba Hospital was arrested on Tuesday on charges of accepting Rs 23.1 lakh from two individuals after promising MBBS seats for their children.
