The Government Railway Police (GRP) commissioner has issued instructions that all personnel escorting ladies compartments at night be checked before they leave for duty. This check will be done to ensure that they are not drunk. This comes in the wake of a home guard, Kailash More, getting sloshed and using abusive language in a Western Railway local train last Wednesday.
