Shopkeepers fined Rs 5 lakh for digging 260 holes

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has levied a fine of Rs 5.20 lakh on the Lokhandwala Vyapari Mandal for digging 260 holes to install lights for its annual Diwali shopping festival.
