The Bombay HC on Monday reserved its judgment on a PIL seeking a ban on plying of horse-drawn carriages, popularly called Victorias, on Mumbai’s roads. Animal rights organizations, horse owners, BMC and the state, who were pitted on either side of the debate, concluded their arguments before a division bench of Justice Abhay Oka and Justice Anil Menon.
